Didn’t catch the Style Series Interview from yesterday? Well, don’t fret! Thanks to Josh from HilaryFan for giving us a complete lineup of what Hilary was asked and what she said on yesterday’s 30-minute interview. It was a great interview, but it’s not that revealing, though. I wish the interviewer was as powerful as Johnjay & Rich. Hilary would reveal anything when she’s talking to those guys, hah.
The interview started with Hilary briefly mentioning Greta, Safety Glass and Stay Cool, but she had no idea when they would be released. The webcast showed a video of her and Rachel, the host, getting ready for The Heart Truth Red Dress Fashion Show, Hilary on the red carpet and the last minute before Hilary went on the runway. She said she was nervous before she walked on. Rachel and Hilary talked about The Heart Truth Charity Event a little more. Then they showed pictures of her on the red carpet from the past year and her opinion on the dresses she got to wear and who she took pictures with.
The most unavoidable question (on a show about fashion) ever: they talked about her new DKNY Collection, ‘Femme’, that it will come out in the summer or fall and that she’s excited to be doing a whole new line for girls her age and older. The host asked her about what is going on with her music, she said she’s not working on a new album right now. Shocker.I don’t know why we were expecting it, anyway. This year is all about her acting; not much music. But the thing is, she doesn’t want to abandon the music; she just wants to focus on her new TV Show with NBC, which by the way, is still in the development stage, according to Hilary. She still doesn’t know which specific show she is doing yet but she is excited to start filming.
Two lucky fans got to ask really good questions. Josh only remembers the one where the one girl asks, ‘How did you transition from doing something more mature — whether it be your music or movies — while still keeping your younger fans interested?’ Hilary said she wouldn’t mind doing Family Movies again, but she said she is growing up, so she also wants to do things that are for her age like the new DKNY line.
The interview ended with Bonnie and Clyde questions: she said it’s not a remake, but it’s on the accurate events of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow’s unrevealed life. She said she can’t wait to hold a gun again (Agent Cody Banks, I believe?), but this time it’s more exciting because she’s robbing banks. I’m glad they didn’t bring up the Faye-Hilary controversey.
