In the Allure Magazine Online article, Hilary Duff's New Bad Girl Role (1-30-2009), Beauty Reporter Jessica Matlin muses on Allure's foresight in creating a Bonnie & Clyde inspired photo shoot for the May 2008 issue in which Hilary graced the cover. The Allure cover shoot was inspired by the 1967 film Bonnie & Clyde, whereas Hilary's up-and-coming indie film The Story of Bonnie and Clyde is inspired by a new take on historical facts as envisioned by writer/producer/director Tonya S. Holly. Click on the Allure logo just below to see the Allure Beauty Report...
Hilary Duff, with her blonde hair, killer cheekbones, almond-shaped eyes, and pouty lips, was easy to envision as Faye Dunaway circa Bonnie and Clyde. So much so, that in our May 2008 issue, we actually dolled her up for the role. And she looked smoking hot, as you can see here.
News flash: she'll play the gun-toting bank robber, Bonnie Parker, in a remake of the 1967 classic. Kevin Zegers (The Jane Austen Book Club, Transamerica) will play the Warren Beatty role.
All I know is that Hil can pull off a beret like nobody's business. Stay tuned.
