The new movie is written and directed by Tonya S. Holly of Cypress Moon Productions and is based on the real life stories of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, small-time criminals who become violent bank robbers. According to the official MySpace for the movie, The Story of Bonnie & Clyde takes place in 1930s small town Texas.
Bonnie Parker (Hilary Duff) has dreams of becoming an actress or a poet, anything to get her away from her small town. Clyde Barrow (Kevin Zegers) also grew up poor with dreams of being noticed and of having the finer things in life. One wanted excitement, the other wanted to be remembered. When their worlds collided, they became history.
The Story of Bonnie and Clyde began with their love, a love that could not be broken. But Clyde’s love of money and excitement would lead them both into a world of violence. This film will take you into the life and times of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow.
